Description:
Often I'm asked (as an atheist) what would make me believe. I ask that to you back now but not the way you might think. |

DavidKabuki ::: Favorites There's a story about W.C. Fields. A friend went to see him in the hospital when he was dying - and found Fields thumbing throuhg a Bible. His buddy asked him why he was reading it he replied, "I'm looking for a loophole." I think that's what I would do. 07-07-26 11:08:38 _____________________________________________________
Judelicious1971 ::: Favorites Great vid Kraisins. I´d need some evidence showing WHICH God of all the available Gods i´d have to change my beliefs too. Not sure what form this evidence would take but something along the testable and quantifiable scientific lines :) 07-07-26 12:42:25 _____________________________________________________
kraisins ::: Favorites Yeah me too. I wonder what would change the minds of die diehard theists. 07-07-26 13:57:18 _____________________________________________________
honnybun14220 ::: Favorites My question, why does there have to be just ONE god? Why can't there be a whole creative team of gods. Staff meetings once a week...brainstorming? (maybe thats where thunder and lighting come from...hmmm) 07-07-26 15:46:19 _____________________________________________________
kraisins ::: Favorites giggle I'm picturing that storms are the result of a scuffle over the last donut. 07-07-26 17:20:33 _____________________________________________________
honnybun14220 ::: Favorites Zeus send a lightning bolt at Buddha " Gimme that last cruller, BITCH" Meanwhile " Me damnit! Who eat my boston cream?!?!" (that was the christian god...get it...ME damnit?) 07-07-26 18:31:23 _____________________________________________________
kraisins ::: Favorites "So help me Me - whoever took the last of the coffee without making another pot is gonna get it!" 07-07-26 19:38:07 _____________________________________________________
vikingjarl ::: Favorites I couldn't worship an egotistical sadist like the god you're describing. True worship cannot be forced. Sure, you could say that you're worshipping, but it would be out of fear that you'd die. But then, wouldn't that god know that already? Even if a person did worship that god, they'd just screw up somehow and get damned anyway. Hope that makes sense! 07-07-27 02:58:20 _____________________________________________________
kraisins ::: Favorites It does make sense. :-D 07-07-27 07:48:21 _____________________________________________________
troydungeon2 ::: Favorites Religion and science = bullshit. If you want to know the REAL truth, go here: Truthism (.com) 07-08-01 01:57:00 _____________________________________________________
kraisins ::: Favorites Sir - quit spamming. 07-08-01 07:09:12 _____________________________________________________
andrewridgway ::: Favorites in a way, you're asking the wrong question. you're coming at it from an atheist's perspective, in which death is the end of existence. the real kicker isn't so much, "would you worship a god that would have people killed," as "would you worship a god that would damn people forever in hell?" 07-08-01 20:36:56 _____________________________________________________ |
