BOnEhEAdD ::: Favorites  2007-07-25 08:38:44 Yup now U got the point that the bassist or guitarist usually get theory from the other instruments and that would explain Billy is kinda stuck, but check out Niacin 4 sum syncopated lines (and great keyboards ;-)) He's not the "best" but he's often regarded "the fastest" or "the most rocking" but that also means some weaknesses. BTW I got all my theory from singing, so I'm kinda stuck at chords 4 example, so I proudly declare myself "the most limited player in this discussion" lol. __________________________________________________

But one beautiful day i downloaded a vid of some guy called Wooten and things have slightly changed :-P(I've almost let go of "some stupid singing" thx 2 him :-D). Now I'm a singing bassman,But I got pretty narrow vocal scale and ppl applaud the most on my screaming anyways, so nothing 2 envy. __________________________________________________

And I especially wanted to highlight the fact Myung started 2 play with 3 fingers like 20 years after Sheehan. And most of all if I like Myung it would be generally because he's very very humble guy who has no need to show off or 2 B idolized by worshippers. DT happens 2 B hardly overrated and Myung deserves more objective appreciation __________________________________________________
